Executive Manager - Business Development & Marketing

Sibusiso has a combination of experience in the public and private sector. He began his career as a temporary employee with Durban Metro Waste Water, Unilever, MTN and International SOS before joining the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti), where he worked as a Trade and Industry Advisor, Assistant Director and Deputy Director. He left the dti in 2008 to join the KZN Department of Economic Development and Tourism’s Industrial and Sector Development Unit as Programmes Manager. He is a member of the Economic Society of South Africa (ESSA). He currently heads the Business Development, Marketing and Communications (BDM) Unit of the RBIDZ. The Unit’s primary responsibility is to step up efforts to attract foreign investment to locate in the Zone in identified key growth sectors.
